THE BRIEF
Through Elastic, ESPN and Taco Bell reached out and asked us to create a fun, colorful and fun (wait, did we say 'fun' two times? Yes. It's THAT fun) animation for their Live Más Student Section 2023 campaign. The goal was clear: dynamism and a nice sense of flow in order to introduce this year's Student Section celebrations. American football, fireworks and Tacos... what more could we ask?!
To create something that fun (yes, again) we got Pedro Allevato and his charming style on board. From the very first storyboard, to the styleframes and final comp Pedro was all over the production, leading the FML team with gusto. In his usual style we blended 3D and 2D seamlessly, using fluid 3D camera moves to our advantage and adding either keyframed or puppet characters on top.
Lots of love was also brought in during the compositing stage, adding delicate grain and other yummy effects to the piece.
