Executive Producer

Role: Executive Producer

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: London Studio

Reporting Line: Reporting into MD

At Feed Me Light we're always on the lookout for strong and passionate people to join our ever growing team. We are currently looking for a full time Executive Producer to help continue our growth by fostering close relationships with our FMLy partners and our clients, while working closely with our ECDs and Talent to deliver on our creative aspirations. You will engage with new business opportunities overseeing pitch and bid processes, and when the project is won (because we like winning) you will guide and mentor all stakeholders (internal & external) through to delivery. You will impart your wisdom and knowledge of production, supporting not only the production team but the entire studio with your industry experience. You will be a people person and a creative thinker.

The distinct creative style of the founding creative team is known for its light hearted view, humour and fun. Fuelled by quality and high attention to detail the work we produce speaks for itself. And coffee – definitely fuelled by a lot of coffee. As a company we strive to be straight up, honest and all round good sorts. This is our mantra for all management and communication, with both clients and employees. We know this will create partnerships that allow for collaboration, joint vision and shared success.

  • Fulltime and permanent position.

  • Fun, open and welcoming company culture. And dogs!

  • Team outings and fun days.

  • Company pension scheme.

  • Salary — negotiable dependent on experience

  • Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 6.30pm. East London offices.

  • Start date — ASAP

WHAT YOU WILL DO (but not limited to)

  • Show understanding of the animation production process and all its nuances from artistic, managerial and operation perspectives. It's a fine line to walk to achieve the balance between creative and production goals, but with your experience you can do this well.

  • Spearhead client and partner relationships and communication, particularly in regard to potential projects. New business development will be a key part of your role, and proven experience necessary.

  • Establish the initial budget assumptions and breakdowns for each potential project, on a macro level. When the project is green lit, you will work closely with the internal production team to ensure the budget is achieved alongside the proposed schedule.

  • Get to know our Talent and what makes them tick. Find ways to help them shine and their passion flowing. But also help keep them in line. This will be alongside our ECDs.

  • Work closely with the Production team, attending all meetings and overseeing all projects within the studio to help mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Identify improvement opportunities and take them.

  • Mentor and foster our production staff to ensure success, growth and enjoyment.

  • Be involved in strategic planning for the studio growth and development.

  • You are a natural people person with a collaborative attitude.

  • You are a creative thinker, open to challenges and always looking to foster client relationships.

  • You are a natural leader who has an ability and ease to motivate others and manage varying situations

  • You have great communication skills to be able to effectively work with people at all levels

  • You have initiative, you’re proactive and you’re organised in your approach to daily life.

  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team.

  • You don’t take yourself too seriously, always up for a chat and a laugh.

  • You’re a go-getter with gumption.

If you want to take part in a cool adventure with a tight team in a very green studio (and are not allergic to dogs!), then we'd love to hear from you.
