CG Lead
At Feed Me Light we're always on the lookout for strong and passionate artists to join our ever growing team! We are currently looking for a full time CG Lead to complement our existing 3D team, someone able to navigate different styles with ease, from strong stylisation to realism, not forgetting Motion Design when needed. You will work alongside our core team, including our Directors, Creative Director, Producers and existing CG Artists, striving each day to push current projects and help pitch on incoming ones.

Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 6.30pm. East London offices.
Start date — ASAP
WHAT YOU WILL DO (but not limited to)
Work alongside the teams whether they are internal talents or freelancers (in and out of the studio) and ensuring the set pipeline is followed.
Be the converging point for all the team (concept artists, modelers, animators, etc) and help coordinate their efforts.
Developing solid working relationships with our current roster of Directors to understand their styles and being able to adapt to it.
Understand the project's requirements on a creative AND technical level, and ensure those requirements are met.
Come up with technical and creative solutions to issues coming up during production.
Help solidify our pipeline in between projects so the next ones go smoother and faster.
Brief and feedback in a clear manner on what is submitted for reviews, in line with the Directors and Art Director's expectations.
Ensure the work done by the studio meets the quality standard set by Feed Me Light or pushes it forward.
Help the pitch process by coming up with solutions to creative challenges.
Work with our producers to ensure the projects remain in scope and delivered on schedule. Things break from time to time and we/you need to be ready for it!
Help with our social media presence when there is time for it, mainly by helping with 3D artwork creation.
WHO YOU ARE
You have a collaborative attitude, this is a must!
You have initiative and are proactive in your approach to daily life. Another must.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team.
Someone who can use and help develop pipeline tools and always on the lookout for new techniques to improve our CG expertise.
Expertise or good understanding of (some of) the 3D softwares: Houdini/Maya/Blender/C4D/Substance/Zbrush and renderers such as Cycles and Redshift. An understanding of Unreal would be a plus but not essential. Note: you don’t need to be a master of all of them, or even use all of them. But please do let us know which you are familiar and confident with.
Understanding of FTrack or similar Pipeline Software
Great eye for visual storytelling, design in a variety of mediums.
You don’t take yourself too seriously, always up for a chat and a laugh.
