3D Animator

At Feed Me Light we're always on the lookout for strong and passionate artists to join our ever growing team! We are currently looking for a full time 3D Animator to complement our existing 3D team, someone able to navigate different styles with ease, from stylised to realistic animation, not forgetting Motion Design bits when needed. You will work alongside our core team, including our Directors, Creative Director, Producers and existing CG Artists, striving each day to push current projects and help pitch on incoming ones.

And coffee – definitely fuelled by a lot of coffee. As a company we strive to be straight up, honest and all round good sorts. This is our mantra for all management and communication, with both clients and employees. We know this will create partnerships that allow for collaboration, joint vision and shared success.

  • Ensure the work done by the studio meets the quality standard set by Feed Me Light or pushes it forward.

  • Understand the project's requirements on a creative AND technical level, and ensure those requirements are met.

  • Be flexible and jump eagerly from one style to the next, finding fun in tackling different challenges and visual styles, from cartoon to realism.

  • Come up with technical and creative solutions to potential issues coming up during production.

  • Work alongside the rigging team to test, improve and streamline the animation process.

  • Help with previsualization when needed.

  • Brief and feedback in a clear manner on what is submitted for reviews if you are leading an animation team, in line with the Directors expectations.

  • Help the pitch process by coming up with solutions to creative challenges or helping with animation tests.

  • Work with our producers to ensure the projects remain in scope and delivered on schedule.

  • Help with our social media presence when there is time for it.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have initiative and are proactive in your approach to daily life. Another must.

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with a team or solo on a project.

  • Experience as an animator on commercial work and/or longer format content.

  • Mastery of character animation above all, and some experience in other types of animation.

  • Experience with lip-sync.

  • Experience with camera animation is a plus but not essential.

  • Experience in 2D animation is a plus, but not essential.

  • You don’t take yourself too seriously, always up for a chat and a laugh.

If you want to take part in a cool adventure with a tight team in a very green studio (and are not allergic to dogs!), then we'd love to hear from you:
